The service was attended by regular parishioners of the church, as well as guests from Singapore and other countries.

After the Divine Liturgy, the rector of the church, Archimandrite Pavel (Khokhlov), presented Met. Sergei with an icon of the Archangel Michael as a prayerful memento. In response, the hierarch congratulated those gathered on the feast day and the great consecration of the church.

As a gift to the newly consecrated church, His Eminence presented holy Eucharistic vessels.

The festive day concluded with a celebratory meal in the church courtyard and the opening of a photo exhibition dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Orthodox community of the Russian Orthodox Church in Malaysia.

There are currently five parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in Malaysia.
