The first Orthodox prayer book in the Indonesian language was recently published.
The new book was presented on December 14 at the St. Vladimir Episcopal Representation Church in Bekasi, the first Orthodox prayer book in the Indonesian language was officially presented, reports the Russian Church’s Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia.
The book was prepared and published with the blessing of the His Eminence Metropolitan Sergei of Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The publication of the prayer book is intended to help believers develop skills in conscious prayer reading and active participation in liturgical practice. It is particularly useful for new converts to Christianity, as it systematizes the process of understanding and mastering the prayer rule.
The Russian Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia currently includes 14 parishes.
