Photo: Prague Diocese His Eminence Archbishop Michael of Prague of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia has been hospitalized due to complications related to his long-term diabetes treatment, the Prague Diocese announced on Sunday.
The 79-year-old hierarch continues to carry out his duties in regular mode despite his hospitalization.
All necessary information is being regularly communicated to him through staff of the diocesan chancery, and his work agenda is being maintained without limitations.
The diocese has asked the faithful to remember Abp. Michael in their prayers and to petition for his speedy recovery and strength during this time.
