Memorial services for the repose of the ever-memorable Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia were served throughout the North American Diocese of the Georgian Orthodox Church yesterday.

His Holiness was urgently hospitalized early yesterday morning, March 17, and reposed in the hospital later in the day.

The North American Diocese announced the sorrowful news yesterday, noting that memorial services were to be held in all churches of the diocese at 7 PM.

His Grace Bishop Saba served a panikhida for Pat. Ilia at St. George Orthodox Church in Philadelphia:
