Warsaw, September 23, 2013

It took Polish builders just 23 hours and 36 minutes to construct a church with a tower 27 meters high, in the small town of Skarszewy, Pomorskie province, reports Kipa/Apic website.

The church building, 12 meters long and 10 meters wide, has been constructed at the initiative of the Polish Roman Catholic Priest Darius Leman.

In the history of building of churches on the territory of Poland there is a notable fact: in 1741, a church building in Gdansk was constructed in 24 hours.

The Skarszewy residents feel very optimistic that the new record will surely get into the Guinness Book of Records.
