Christian family is a blessing and an icon of the love of God for humanity, a sacred space where the grace of the Most Holy Trinity works, leading to eternal life and love. Within a family, the relationship between parents and children can be better understood in the light of man’s relationship with God. Children are not born only for terrestrial life, but also to become, by Holy Baptism, sons of God according to grace (John 1:12-13) and to inherit eternal life in the Kingdom of the Most Holy Trinity.
"Lord Jesus Christ, the Physician of our souls and bodies, heal the multitude of ill children and young people suffering in their families, in hospitals, in children’s homes; quench their suffering and offer patience and love to those who take care of them: parents, doctors, nurses and medical assistants."
We pray God for the peace, the understanding and the good coexistence between people of different nationalities, cultures and religious beliefs.

"In order to emphasize the necessity of the meeting of the future Holy and Great Synod, we must recall that conciliarity represents a canonical norm of the ecclesial life in every Autocephalous Orthodox Church."
"God eternally alive becomes a mortal Man in order to give eternal life to mortal men. The Son of God becomes Son of Man so that man might become a son of God by grace (cf. John 1:12). The descent of the Son of God Jesus Christ among men is the beginning of man's ascension into the kingdom of love of the Holy Trinity."
"The theological and spiritual treasure of Christmas carols comes from the teaching of the Orthodox Church, inspired by the Gospel and the writings of the Holy Fathers, which profoundly meditate on the mystery of God’s love of mankind, shown to us by the Incarnation and the birth of His Son, Who became a Man out of His love of man and for the sake of man’s salvation."

In this enormous vacuum of profound spiritual life of postmodern society caused by secularism, the prospect of the occult and Eastern practices becomes particularly tempting for contemporary man. Different directions are proposed to modern man from astrology to satanism, from re-actualizing the old techniques and methods of Chinese Mantic to aggressive new ways of Hindu and Buddhist mystic, that is, an array of spiritual methods of “turning inwardly,” of self-withdrawal, of self-discovery, in order to change the actual system of values, by changing the individual conscience.
We pray to our Savior Jesus Christ, the Three Holy Hierarchs and to St. Demetrius the New, protector of Bucharest, to illumine you, to strengthen you and to grant you healing and health of soul and body, so that you can follow the example of the saints and to become worthy of the grace and light, the peace and joy of the Most Holy Trinity. Amen.

“Therefore, we learn from the attitude of Jesus Christ that we ought to be near to all mourning people who cry for their lost ones,” the Patriarch of Romania said underlining that “we show, through our presence near to the grieving that the merciful love of Christ our Savior works through us.”
"For this reason, the strengthening of the relation between parish and school in the life and mission of the Church has a special relevance as far as religious education is concerned. At present, both theological and religious education are two essential components of the Romanian educational system."
"Having as a model the forming and educational mission of the Holy Fathers of the Church, today’s Christian education must be ordered and realized according to the specific spiritual needs and capabilities of every age, i.e. the spiritual endowment of children and youth with the best fundamental moral and religious knowledge, in order to cultivate kindness and the beauty of the soul."

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing away of Rev. Archimandrite Arsenie (Papacioc), one of the great father confessors of the Romanian people. A symbol of Romanian monasticism of the late twentieth, early twenty-first centuries, Fr. Arsenie was a great counselor through his exemplary life, and through his profitable teachings.
