We have learned with sorrow and worry of the terrorist attack that took place in Brussels Tuesday morning, 22 March 2016, in which at least 34 persons have been killed and 136 injured.

In these difficult moments for the Belgian people, we pray for the rest of the souls of the deceased, for the consolation of the bereaved families, and for the recovery of the injured.

We express our solidarity with the Belgian people passing through distress, as well as our concern for the escalation of terrorist attacks in Europe.

We pray God for the peace, the understanding and the good coexistence between people of different nationalities, cultures and religious beliefs.

At approximately 12.45 on Sunday 29 December 17 people were killed by a suicide bombing at the central railway station in Volgograd. At that time the railway station was particularly crowded. After three trains had been cancelled many passengers were crowded in the waiting room.
