Moscow Patriarchate's church set on fire in western Ukraine

A fire at the church of the Joy of All Who Sorrow Icon of the Mother of God of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate broke out in the city of Nikolayev in the Lvov Region of Ukraine.

The incident took place overnight on February 22, the press service of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate reported on Wednesday. The fire was caused by arson the press service said.

The central part of the church building was massively damaged and a part of the church refectory burnt down in the fire.
