Having begun their Church life not long before, the friends were each secretly dreaming of a miracle.
We often reject ballet as an a priori a sinful form of art, judging it only from hearsay or scandalous stories and personalities. Meanwhile, we know of many religious ballet dancers. Anna Pavlova, Igor Moiseyev, Andris and Ilze Liepa, Svetlana Zakharova, Ulyana Lopatkina—to name but a few.
Alexander III enjoyed family life throughout his twenty-eight years of his marriage, saying: “May God bless everybody with a wife like mine—then they will feel untroubled and happy.”
I will regret the love that I haven’t given enough of to others. But, fortunately, this resource (unlike gold, petroleum or money) is available to everybody and is always with us.
