Take a virtual tour of Beirut Orthodox Cathedral and help its renovation. See how it looked before the explosion

The VR Pilgrim application offers a virtual tour of places of worship from Lebanon, among which the “St. Nicholas” Cathedral in Beirut, one of the most affected buildings by the blast on August 4.

In June, VR360 Treasures company launched the application VR Pilgrim, which allows users to take virtual tours of Christian churches across the world. A year before, the team had visited Lebanon to film its churches and monasteries in order to include them in their app.

After the explosion on August 4, Georgios Tsatsanidis, VR360 Treasures Director, sent condolences to the Lebanese people:

“I can’t even begin to describe the feeling when I see photos and videos sent by Lebanese friends. A year ago we were in Lebanon and were fascinated by the beauty and hospitality of this country. With sadness and pain, I look at what is left of Beirut now.”
