“You can now travel through St. Seraphim-Diveyevo Monastery without even going on pilgrimage to our renowned monastery,” reads the announcement of the launch of a new virtual tour of the monastery that was spiritually guided by St. Seraphim of Sarov and is now home to his precious relics.

The virtual tour was prepared by Dmitry Kashkanov of Nizhny Novgorod, who went through the monastery, visiting the churches and holy sites. In all, he captured more than 120 panoramas throughout the monastery.

The comprehensive tour presents the monastery in the daytime and at night, and includes a bird’s eye view of the monastery, and tours of the holy spring of St. Seraphim, the Holy Canal along which walk and pray pilgrims and the Mother of God herself, the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, the Church of the Nativity of Christ, the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Holy Transfiguration Cathedral, and the Church of the Dormition.

The relics of St. Seraphim can be seen in Holy Trinity Cathedral, as well as the wonderworking icons of St. Seraphim and of the Mother of God “Of Tender Feeling,” and the relics of Sts. Alexandra, Martha, and Elena of Diveyevo can be seen in the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos.
