Locum Tenens of Serbian Patriarchal Throne leaves hospital after bout with COVID

His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostom of Dabar and Bosnia, the Locum Tenens of the Patriarchal throne of the Serbian Orthodox Church, left the hospital in Belgrade where he was being treated for the coronavirus today.

The Metropolitan has no symptoms and is in a good general condition, according to a press release from the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Met. Chrysostom was hospitalized in the evening of December 4 and spent a week in the hospital.

As the senior-most hierarch of the Serbian Church, he was appointed Locum Tenens of the Patriarchal Throne following the repose of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej on November 20.
