His Beatitude Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland visited the capital’s Agia Sophia Cathedral, which is still under construction, thus ending a 4-month quarantine, reports World Ecclesiastical News.

Last month, OrthoChristian reported that Met. Sawa, 82, suffers from several diseases and was in strict quarantine. He last publicly served the Divine Liturgy on October 18.

The primate of the Polish Church visited the church, together with a group of clergy, with help of a cane.

His Beatitude was hospitalized in July for a recurrent bacterial skin infection (erysipelas) that he has suffered from for many years.

May the Lord continue to bless His Eminence with an improving state of health!

Why are these people so close together and not wearing masks. Four months in quarantine to catch corona on the first day out.
