Zadubrovka, Ukraine, March 23, 2021
Violent schismatics of the “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” (OCU) were miraculously prevented from seizing the Church of the Archangel Michael in the village of Zadubrovka, one parishioner recalls.
The canonical community has been keeping a round-the-clock prayer watch at the church for more than two years now. In that time, they have prevented several seizure attempts.
Supporters of the unrecognized OCU fired tear gas into the church in the Chernivtsi Province and tried to cut off the locks with an angle grinder, but the Lord stopped them by the power of His Cross, the parishioner told the journalists of the YouTube channel Vitrazhi.
“My sister and three other women were here,” the woman recalls. “They took a Crucifix and put it on the door” inside the church. As soon as they put the Crucifix on the door, the saw immediately broke! At the same time!”
After that, the attackers didn’t know what to do, and the seizure attempt failed.
“But what a miracle, you know? The Crucifix—and everything changed. Our Church, our faither—our Mother,” the parishioner movingly exclaimed.
Earlier this month, 63-year-old Vasily Khaschiuk was brutally beaten by OCU thugs on his way home from prayerfully protecting the church.
