Sidorovka, Chernigov Province, Ukraine, April 20, 2021
Thanks to the local diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, one large family now has a suitable place to live and sleep at night.
At the expense of the Nizhyn Diocese, a house was purchased in the village of Sidorovka in the Chernigov Oblast for a family with four children, reports the diocesan press service.
With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Clement of Nizhyn and Priluki, the Chairman of the Diocesan Department for Family Affairs, Fr. Alexander Gladish, accompanied the family to its new residence on Sunday.

The diocese also helped the family move their belongings and provided food and seeds for planting a vegetable garden.
OrthoChristian has reported numerous times on Romanian monasteries and dioceses providing housing for needy families. Most recently, housing was purchased for 15 struggling families through the efforts of Fr. Dan Damaschin, a priest in Iași.
