Watch descent of Holy Fire in Jerusalem аnd Pascha at Kiev Caves Lavra live online

The ceremony of the descent of the Holy Fire on Holy Saturday in Jerusalem and the Paschal services at the Kiev Caves Lavra will be broadcast live online by the Ukrainian television station Inter, reports ukranews.com.

The programing will be as follows:

12:40 PM (5:40 AM Eastern): Descent of the Holy Fire in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre
10:00 PM (3:00 PM Eastern): “Pilgrimage to the Holy Land” documentary
11:00 PM (4:00 PM Eastern): Paschal services at the Kiev Caves Lavra

All of the programs will be broadcast online on the Inter website. The Holy Fire will likely be broadcast on the Facebook page of the Jerusalem Patriarchate as well.

Unfortunately, last year, due to the COVID pandemic, the Holy Fire ceremony was held in an empty church, without the presence of parishioners of pilgrims.

This year, it is expected that a few thousand Orthodox faithful will be able to attend, although they will have to show proof of COVID vaccination.
