Photo: lagff.org Yelena Popovic’s film Man of God, about the great 19th-20th-century wonderworker St. Nektarios of Aegina, will be shown online two days later this month as part of the Los Angeles Greek Films Festival.
Fresh off its acclaimed international premier at the 43rd Moscow International Film Festival, where it won the coveted Audience Award, Man of God will be available on the site of the Los Angeles Greek Films Festival on May 22 and 23.
The film is eligible for the Orpheus Audience Award.
It will have two screenings: Saturday May 22, 7:00-10:00 PM (Pacific), and Sunday May 23, 6:00-9:00 PM (Pacific). Tickets can be purchased in advance online.
Man of God is also nominated for Best Film in the Phoenix Film Festival in August.
The film will be released in theaters first in Greece, as soon as conditions allow, followed by a wider international release, reports Honey and Hemlock.
