Churches will ring bells to sound the alarm throughout Ukraine

Throughout Ukraine, church bells can act as alarm signals, reports the Ukrainian Orthodox Church with reference to a statement from the Ukrainian Parliament.

“When you hear the bells ringing, you need to get to a shelter immediately,” reads the statement on the Verkhovna Rada’s official Telegram channel.

The Ukrainian Church earlier announced that all of its churches and monasteries are opened as shelters in case of need.
