Thanks to the love and efforts of the local priest and parish community, three young children from Galați County, Romania, who recently lost their mother now have a brand-new house to live in.

The two girls and boy were alone with their father in a severely dilapidated house in Brăhășești after losing their mother to an aggressive illness at the beginning of the year.

Fr. Cătălin Tudose managed to mobilize the faithful to build and furnish the home in just a few months, and on Saturday, July 2, the house was blessed, reports the Archdiocese of the Lower Danube.

The service was celebrated by His Eminence Archbishop Casian, who offered words of encouragement to the father and three children and thanked those who supported the initiative to provide a home.

The family was also blessed with household products, food, and other necessary items.

Last September, the Archdiocese of the Lower Danube provided 4,000 backpacks filled with school supplies for school children from needy families.
