The 13th annual Month for Life is being held throughout Romania and Moldova this month. The event runs from March 1 to 31, culminating with the “The Future is Pro-Life” March on Saturday, March 25, coinciding with the great feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos.

“The March is dedicated to preserving and safeguarding the lives of children from the time of conception. It strives to enhance society’s understanding of the full humanity of unborn children and the need to help women experiencing problems during pregnancy so they may give birth safely and confidently,” explains the March’s website.

The March calls on society to “build a pro-life future—a future in which every pregnant woman in need will be supported to give birth to her children and in which the life of every born and unborn child will be valued fully, regardless of age or health status, whether boy or girl.”

The organization suggests many activities that can be organized in the Month for Life, including pro-life film screenings, pro-life book readings for children, charity campaigns for pregnancy help centers, conferences with pro-life guests, and much more.
