Bp. Varlaam emphasized that the opening of the center is a good beginning to 2023, declared the honorary year of pastoral care for the elderly by the Romanian Holy Synod.

The Church of the Annunciation also runs a chapter of the Church’s national Table of Joy program, offering food to the needy.
