More than 20 people were united to Christ in Holy Baptism in Cameroon in late December.

On Sunday, December 24, three priests concelebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Great Martyr Demetrios of Thessaloniki (African Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church) in the capital city of Yaoundé.

Following the Liturgy, a mass Baptism was celebrated in which 24 people, including children and teenagers, received the washing of regeneration, reports the African Exarchate.

Multiple mass Baptisms occurred in Africa in December, including in Malawi, Tanzania, and Kenya.
