The Church of Great Martyr George, created in honor of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (World War II), is well known to any visitor to Moscow’s Victory Park on Worship Hill. Thirty years ago, on May 6, 1995, it was consecrated by His Holiness Patriarch Alexiy II of Moscow and All Russia.
