The Antiochian Orthodox Christian Education Ministry officially launched the Orthodox Learning Ladder on February 15. The new online resource hub was created to support and strengthen parish Christian Education ministries across the Archdiocese.

The Orthodox Learning Ladder is designed to serve teachers at all experience levels, from those just beginning in Church School ministry to seasoned educators. Rather than replacing existing curriculum, the site complements what parishes are already using and serves as a guiding framework for teachers and program leaders as they discern what, when, and how to embed catechetical learning into parish life.

At the heart of the platform are grade-level learning maps covering pre-K through 12th grade. These maps outline themes ranging from Holy Scripture and the Church Fathers to the feasts of the Church year, helping ensure that youth receive well-rounded spiritual formation across developmental stages. The Learning Ladder is designed to remain flexible enough to support the diverse needs of parishes throughout the Archdiocese.

The site currently features curated resources for Great Lent and Pascha, including a daily Lenten calendar with Scripture readings and activities. Resource types available on the platform include art and crafts, printables, lesson plans, coloring pages, videos, hands-on activities, books, bulletin inserts, learning maps, icons, podcasts, reference materials, and music. New materials are being added regularly in the coming months.

The Orthodox Learning Ladder can be visited at www.orthodoxlearningladder.com.
