The joy of the feast of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos was enhanced at St. Herman Serbian Orthodox Church in Kalispell, Montana, this year, as 9 people were baptized into Christ.
The Sacrament was celebrated by parish rector Fr. Panayiotis Tekosis.
“Many Years to the newly illumined Jason and Stephanida, and their Godparents Reader Michael and Elizabeth, Artemius, Boniface, and Anna, and their Godparents Anthony and Melania, Sava and his Godparents Abraham and Sara, Emilia, Irinej, and Mary, and their Godmother Matushka Kathryn,” writes the Orthodox Kalispell Facebook page.

The newly illumined then communed for the first time at the Liturgy for the feast of the Protection.
The parish began as a mission with a handful of families in the summer of 2014, and in May of this year, Fr. Panayiotis and the faithful of St. Herman’s broke ground for the construction of a new church.
