A dozen more people were enrolled as catechumens at one northern Californian parish on Sunday, as Orthodoxy continues to grow quickly across America.
“Today we welcomed 12 new catechumens. Glory to God,” St. Susanna Orthodox Church in Sonora, a parish of the Orthodox Church in America’s Diocese of the West, reported on Sunday.

The church is led by Fr. Davede Thompson.
In late August, six people were baptized at the church. OrthoChristian also previously reported 14 people were received into the Church at St. Susanna’s and seven others were made catechumens on Holy Saturday.
