St. Seraphim Orthodox Church in Sea Cliff, New York has sent a container with humanitarian aid to Donbass.
It includes medical and household supplies, clothing and shoes. The Synodal Department of Humanitarian Affairs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will spread the aid, the press service of the Synodal Department for Church, Society and Media Relations reports.
The campaign was held by parishioners of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia and Russian organizations abroad.
American Orthodox believers sent the first container with humanitarian aid to Donbass in Spring 2015. The aid was delivered to those places most suffering from military action.
