Archpriest George Breyev
We cannot fully overcome feelings of self-love; they are very strong. And if a person does not struggle with them, doesn’t reject them, then, naturally, a demand arises to judge others from the heights of their self-opinion, saying: “I am so high and perfect, but I do not see perfection around me. Therefore, I have the right to make judgments and label others.”
If we take a look at ourselves and try to see our own inclinations, then we can easily see that we already have a steady habit formed of judging.

It is crystal clear that our society is infected with a shortage of love. I think that our contemporaries, choked up in the general atmosphere of enmity (because of the lack of love), above all expect love from the Church. That is why above all we should tell those on the outside that God is love.
