Why did the Holy Fathers say we should consider the people around us to be saints? So that you would become a saint.
The goodness of God helps us as many times as we run to Him and cry out, “Lord, I pray to You, help me!”
All of the fasts were established by the Holy Fathers so that, in fasting, you might diminish your passions.
