Patriarch of Bulgaria released from hospital

His Holiness Patriarch Neofit of Bulgarias was discharged from the neurological department of the Acibadem Clinical Hospital in Sofia on Friday, June 25, after spending more than a week in the hospital.

The Patriarch returned to the Patriarchal House of the Holy Metropolis of Sofia, and is in good health, reports the Bulgarian Patriarchate.

The Bulgarian Church reported on June 17 that His Holiness had been admitted to the hospital for examination.

His Holiness thanks the faithful for their attention, care, and prayer, and in turn, “prays for all his spiritual children in Bulgaria and abroad, wishing health, longevity, and prosperity to our beloved people,” the statement reads.
