Mass Baptism of refugee children in western Ukrainian church

More than a dozen refugee children were united to Christ in His Orthodox Church in a church in western Ukraine on Saturday.

“With the blessing of the ruling hierarch of the Mukachevo Diocese, His Eminence Metropolitan Theodore of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod, the Sacrament of Baptism was celebrated for displaced children from a local orphanage at the Holy Trinity Church in Mukachevo,” the diocese reports.

The Baptism and Chrismation of 17 children was celebrated by the rector of the Holy Trinity Church, Archpriest Yaroslav Popovich.
