The St. Barnabas Orthodox Orphanage and School in south-central Kenya requires assistance in the building of a medical clinic.
“For sometime now, I have been praying that We shall one day build a clinic for the children in my humble orphanage and school. This will be the main subject of my prayer month this year (July). I will also use my time to pray for all of you,” writes Fr. Methodios JM Kariuki, the founder and director of the orphanage and school that have helped over 400 children since 2007.
And thanks to the generosity of one man, Father’s dream is starting to look like a reality.
“I wish to inform you all of a miracle that happened a few days a go in regard to the above item. One of our benefactors Dr. Gary Theofilis Αργυριος Θεοφιλης, founder of ARILEX Medical & ARILEX Holdings, located in Atlanta, Georgia USA has pledged matching donations towards building the medical clinic to a total of US$10,000,” informs Fr. Methodios.
“This is a great miracle to see that with this donation we will be able to build the first phase of the clinic. I kindly ask that you please find it worth to make donations so that we can match this donation. That will take us to $20,000 quickly.”
Donations can be made via the PayPal account: donations@orthodoxmissionkenya.org, or on the orphanage’s website.
