Nun Innokentia is the first to be tonsured in honor of the Holy Hieromartyr Innokenty (Tikhonov), Archbishop of Vinnitsa, who is celebrated as part of the Synaxis of Vinnitsa Saints.

At the end of the rite, Met. Barsanuphius addressed the newly tonsured nuns with an archpastoral instruction.
