The tradition of mass Baptisms continue throughout Africa.

In the continuing joy of the Bright Resurrection of Christ, more than a dozen children were baptized over the weekend in Nigeria.

In particular, 15 children and one adult were baptized by Fr. Cornelius Osuji at the Church of the Archangel Michael of the Patriarchate of Alexandria in the city of Uli, Nigeria, on Saturday, before the Vespers for Thomas Sunday, reports the Orthodoxia News Agency.

More than a dozen children were earlier baptized at the same parish in November.

The service was led by the rector Fr. Ambrose Chavala.

150 children and adults were also baptized in Tanzania last month.
