In late March, the governing board of the Conference of European Churches accepted the membership application of the schismatic “Orthodox Church of Ukraine.”

Therefore, the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church resolved at its May session to suspend its membership in the European organization until further notice. Therefore, the Serbian Church is not participating in the General Assembly of the Conference that is currently underway in Tallinn, Estonia.

A letter explaining the Serbian Church’s decision was published by the Telegram channel PravBlog.
