His Beatitude Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland, 85, has been hospitalized.
The chancellery of the Metropolis of Warsaw announced today:
His Eminence the Most Blessed Sawa, Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland, is currently in the hospital undergoing treatment for cardiac problems.
Therefore, members of the Orthodox Church in Poland and all who are close to His Beatitude are asked to pray for the Metropolitan’s speedy return to health and strength.
Met. Sawa, who has been serving the Church as a bishop for 44 years, was also hospitalized back in March.
