If we love our enemies, then our heart becomes a temple and the Lord dwells in it. If we exclude even one person from our love, then the Lord leaves us, and with Him—joy and light!
In the Biblical narrative about the temptation of the Forefathers, we have the history of the main worldview systems contained, as in a genetic code, with which man tried and tries to fill the bottomless pit in his soul—the loss of God.
Jesus Christ ascended with hands stretched forth in blessing. The apostles and disciples, standing at the Mount of Olives, represented the first Christian Church. This image, full of love and hope, is a sign and promise that the blessing of God will always abide in the Church and will preserve it forever.
