“The Miraculous Icon of Our Lady of Sitka” Lecture

On March 20, 2016, the Very Reverend John Kowalczyk, pastor of St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Jermyn, PA delivered a lecture at Villanova University’s Connelly Center. The lecture is entitled "The Miraculous Icon of Our Lady of Sitka,” and is the first presentation in the Alaskan Exhibition Lecture Series.

Further lectures include "Russian America: The Alaska Native Spiritual Legacy" by the Very Reverend Michael Oleska on April 5, and "The Alaskan Church Today" by the Very Reverend Nicholas Molodyko-Harris on May 3. There is also an exhibition ongoing until May 16 entitled "Russian America: The Alaska Native Spiritual Legacy."
