After homosexual unions, pedophilia may be legalized in certain countries, head of the Synodal Department for Church, Society and Media Relations Vladimir Legoida believes.
"About 20-30 years ago they told us that homosexual unions would never be legalized. Then it seemed impossible. But now they have been legalized. But there are much more serious dangers: the possible legalization of pedophilia," he said in his interview published on Wednesday at website of the Peterburgsky Dnevnik (Petersburg Journal).
"When we point out that such a possibility is not far off in certain countries, they say it will never happen." Legoida noted.
According to him, the notions of family, and limits of what is acceptable and not acceptable is "what can fundamentally change the world in the future."
