A new text has been published that will enrich the liturgical life of the growing Orthodox Church in Thailand.

With the blessing of Archimandrite Oleg (Cherepanin), the Russian Orthodox representative in Thailand and dean of the patriarchal parishes in the Kingdom of Thailand, the rite of the Paschal service has been published in the Thai language, reports the site of the Orthodox Church in Thailand.

The new publication includes the text of the Paschal Hours, Matins, and Divine Liturgy, and comes just a few months after another liturgical book containing the order for Great Vespers, Festal Matins, the Hours, and the Divine Liturgy was published. The Orthodox Church: History and Teachings by Bishop Alexander (Mileant) was also published at that time.

The translation and publication was carried out by students of the Theological School in Phuket under the direction of Hieromonk Paisy (Ipate). Several copies will be sent to the eight parishes of the deanery of the Russian Orthodox Church in Thailand and also to the Orthodox faithful for use in the upcoming great Feast of Feasts.

Financial support for the publication was provided by the Orthodox Church Foundation in Thailand.

The catechetical book The Law of God by Archpriest Seraphim Slobodskoy was printed in Thai in 2012, and a book on the history of Christianity in 2013.
