A representative of the schismatic “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” has concelebrated with Latin and Uniate Catholics again in the Ukrainian city of Bogorodchany in the Ivano-Frankivsk Province.

This is only the latest in a long series of concelebrations with schismatics and heretics on the part of the OCU.

“Roman Catholics, Greek Catholics, and Orthodox jointly consecrate a church,” writes Svyatoslav Nikorivich, who attended the event on Sunday, July 12.

“God is speaking in Bogorodchany,” the Catholic metropolitan said during the service.

“The Church is united today in Bogorodchany and no one will be able to divide us. The truth wins, so it’s worth fighting for!” writes Nikorovich.

On July 7, an OCU and a Uniate hierarch jointly consecrated a military base. In March, the OCU and Uniates opened an interfaith church for military personnel in the Donetsk Province that has no clear religious affiliation. In May, schismatics, Uniates, and Roman Catholics planted a “unity tree” at a Catholic seminary.

The OCU has served with Catholics and other schismatics many times.
