Schismatics throw feces into house of Ukrainian Orthodox priest

Sadov, Volyn Province, Ukraine, April 16, 2021

Since then, the violent supporters of Patriarch Bartholomew’s “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” (OCU) have resorted to threats and beatings to try to expel the priest and his family from the parish house.

The latest attack occurred early yesterday morning.

At about 2:50 AM, schismatic nationalists came to Archpriest Vladimir Meles’ house, where the canonical community is currently holding its Divine services, broke the windows, and threw three buckets of feces into the house, reports the Volyn Diocese.

“One of the buckets spilled on the bed where the UOC priest’s daughter was sleeping with her young son,” the report reads.

It is clear that Constantinople’s OCU is not led by Christian principles, the Volyn Diocese writes:

Broken windows, threats of grenades, beating up the children of a priest... and now these buckets of manure… With what kind of “love” Do representatives of the OCU do such things? What commandments guide them? Who do they believe in and pray to? After all, a church or a house—these are just walls, when only anger and hatred reign in the hearts of men.

Not satisfied with simply stealing churches, schismatics are also trying to evict priests throughout the country. Two men were beaten in June 2019 as they defended a priest from eviction in Nova Moschanitsa, Rivne Province. In Pyatigory in the Rivne Province, schismatics have claimed ownership over the house where the canonical priest has lived for 27 years and are attempting to evict him, even as he suffers from cancer. In Yasinya in the Transcarpathian Province, schismatics sued to evict the canonical priest and his family with three small children from their house.

The schismatics have even threatened to kill Ukrainian priests.

Ye shall know them by their fruit. It sounds like they are closer to antifa than Orthodoxy.

This is inhuman. Just like the silence of media on these matters.

These evil people will have to answer before the Throne of God someday.
