The Romanian Orthodox Christian Students Association (ASCOR) of Iaşi has built another house for a needy family.

The house is just about ready—ASCOR is currently making the final preparations for the completion of the fourth such house. The wood for building the house was donated by the Metropolis of Moldova and Bukovina, reports the Basilica News Agency.

The ASCOR volunteers hope to be able to hand over the keys to the future tenants before the beginning of the cold season. The beneficiaries are the sisters Sidonia and Irina, whose parents passed away in 2019, and their grandmother who now takes care of them.

ASCOR Iaşi’s third house was blessed in May 2021, and handed over to a widowed mother and her five young children.
