Fr. Costin Silviu Dinică reposed in the Lord after a long battle with disease in 2019 at the young age of 34, leaving behind his wife and two young children.

This week, the family was given a new home by the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese of Bucharest. The land on which the house was built was donated by the Clinceni city hall, reports the Basilica News Agency.

The house was blessed on Wednesday with a moleben of thanksgiving. All those involved in the construction of the house received distinctions from the Romanian Patriarch, His Beatitude Daniel.

In his six years as a priest, Fr. Dinică managed to completely rebuild a church that had been destroyed in a fire. He also built a social center with a refectory and a multipurpose hall for catechesis. He also beautified the parish cemetery.

He was also active in social-philanthropic work.

A memorial service for Fr. Dinică was also served with the family on Wednesday.
