The online catechism course run by the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain (Patriarchate of Constantinople) continues to draw souls to Christ in His Church by the dozens.

OrthoChristian previously reported on the Baptism of 11 graduates of the program in March of last year, and the Baptism of another 14 in June.

And on Saturday, February 25, with the blessing of Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira, another 12 adults were received into the Church by Baptism, and one by Chrismation, the Archdiocese reports.

The Sacraments were celebrated at the historical Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom. The newly illumined all attended the Divine Liturgy at the cathedral the next day and received Holy Communion for the first time.

More than 70 individuals who completed the Discover Orthodoxy Class have been received into the Orthodox Church thus far.

The next online course will begin on March 7, 2023. For more information, contact the V. Rev. Archimandrite Nephon Tsimalis: chancellor@thyateira.org.uk.

I hope the editor takes up Fr. Nephon's offer. I'd love to hear more about the good work of the Church in the UK. It seems to be bearing fruit.

Enlighting. As a poet and World Historian I am learning more and more about the Church. Thank you so much. Victoria Heim
