To celebrate his victory in Kazan, Ivan the Terrible, Tsar of Russia, ordered an impressive cathedral to be built in Moscow's Red Square. The Cathedral of the Intercession of the Virgin, better known as Saint-Basil-the-Blessed, is a masterpiece of Orthodox architecture. Its multi-colored domes have become the emblem of Orthodox Russia and it is one of the most visited monuments in Moscow.

A new guided tour has appeared at the Moscow Kremlin for tourists from different countries. According to its organizers, it will be interesting for both students and adults. The archeologists managed to find the Yekaterinskaya Church of the Voznesensky Monastery (1817), the monastery canteen joined to the Annunciation Church and the Alexeyevskaya Church of the Chudov Monastery (late 17th century).
