Basilios delivered a short sermon to the faithful: “We are starting this work, not having a single euro at our disposal. But we believe the Grace of God and intercession of Venerable Paisios will help us complete this good undertaking with success”.
The parishioners expressed their joy at the news of construction of the new Church of Elder Paisios of Mt. Athos and applauded Metropolitan Damaskinos as he left.
